banda e a banda do Nuno, todos nós sabíamos quem era o outro; minha
banda costumava abrir para esses caras, e assim por diante.Já conhecia o
Nuno antes disso… Eu trabalhava numa loja de guitarras personalizadas
construindo baixos e guitarras, pintura e coisas assim, e o Nuno
costumava trazer as suas guitarras para trabalhar nelas. Ele gosta de
versões menores do corpo Strat-type, então ele trazia uma bela guitarra
nova com linhas desenhadas por toda parte, e meu chefe levava para o
serrote e cortava as pontas da guitarra para ele! Então minha primeira
impressão do Nuno foi essa: o garoto maluco que comprou um novo Charvel
Jackson e depois o cortou em pedaços ..."

"We're
really from three different bands, Gary and Paul had a band called "The
Dream", and they'd played together for years- they were big on the
Boston circuit, had a local EP out, and so on.And because
they were playing all the same Boston Clubs at the same time as my band
and Nuno's band, we all knew who each other was; my band used to open
for those guys, and so on.
I'd met Nuno before this,
though… I used to work in a custom guitar shop building basses and
guitars, painting and things like that, and Nuno used to bring his
guitars in to work on them. He likes smaller versions of the Strat-type
body, so he'd bring in a nice new guitar with lines drawn all over it,
and my boss would take it to the handsaw and cut the edges off the
guitar for him! So my first impression of Nuno was of this crazy kid who
bought new Charvel Jackson's, and then cut them into pieces..."
